On July 10, Collin Holloway celebrates his 30th birthday with a solo performance at the Norton Museum of Art, presenting Colors, a new program exploring the guitar as a palette of distinct sound worlds. Featuring music by Leo Brouwer, Frantz Casséus, Sergio Assad, Maurice Ohana, and Joaquín Turina, the program moves from meditative modernism and Haitian folk-inspired rhythms to vivid Brazilian miniatures, microtonal color, and Spanish virtuosity.
